From the woods to Hollywood

Actually Burbank not Hollywood but whatever. So we all know why Kel and I really came to Cali. The same reason everybody does, to get a tan and get real famous like. Just so happens Corrado was coming to town. So I had his people call my people.(We actually just called each other... we don't have people yet.) After some heated contract negotiation it was settled. I think I made out pretty good. Sure I didn't get paid my multi-million request or at all for that matter. I wasn't really part of the cast. I would be ordered to put small red x's on the wall at command by a shaky guy with a laser pointer and would have to legally change my name to Hey You, but Meredith Corrado said that she might buy me a Philly cheese steak sandwich... I liked those odds so I was in.

Kel got to help quite a bit as well. She was the official baby wrangler, wind machine extraordinaire, and part time stand in as above.

Hey mom, how 'bout that posture, eh?

Ooooo... Is it just me or do you feel a bit of on screen chemistry between wind girl and soldier 3?

So this is Corrado and I's big break. Here in my faithful raft we'll make my last stand against the dreaded plesiosaur. Yeah, plesiosaur is just fancy talk for Loch Ness monster. That is the director describing how the thing is going to rise out of the water and eat us. It took all of my not inconsiderable acting skill to pull it off. Corrado wanted to make a script write in where he lept from the raft and stabbed the beast with an oar he had just broken with his bare hands consequently saving our motley crew of soldiers and pressing on to the next scene. The director said no and so we were eaten, virtually anyway.

Hey who looks pretty good after being eaten by a plesiosaur? These guys!

Other than my Hollywood extravaganza things have been pretty quiet at camp. Here is a cool pic of fog from the valley rolling over the dam onto the lake.

Kel has been working full time a the orange packing plant and I've picked up most of the volunteer duties. We still get out to hike when its nice and Kel has been taking some pics of pretty things along the way.

Pretty good and all, but I still think this is the prettiest thing I've seen since I've been out here.

Peace out! Have your people call my people!
